With more than 250 concerts per season presenting a variety
of musical styles, the Cité de la Musique welcomes a large and diversified
public. From baroque to contemporary music, not forgetting the classical
repertory, from jazz to world music to traditional music, the Cité de
la Musique is a constant invitation to musical dialogue.
And you will associate your company with an ambitious artistic selection of the highest quality.
The transmission of knowledge and culture, especially to children, is important
for the future of a society. The Cité de la Musique, a pioneer in this
domain, is developing a rich offer aimed at young visitors. Since they
constitute the society of tomorrow, the Cité de la Musique is particularly
attentive to their demands: educational concerts, guided tours, practical
musical workshops.
And you will associate your company with the future of our children.
Located in the heart of Paris, the Cité de la Musique is aware of changes in
urban demands and the diversity of the public. Because “art is the shortest
path from one human to another” (Malraux), the Cité is developing extramural
actions and an intercultural approach to improve access to culture and
reinforce social links. It is by being involved in a multiplicity of
approaches that music draws interest to itself.
And you will associate your company with a civic action.
To ensure that a museum remains alive and maintains its reputation as an international
reference, it must continually enrich its collections.
And you will associate your company with the acquisition of
a National Treasure*.
* Tax advantages for the acquisition of National Treasures. The tax law 2002-5 of 4 January 2002 relating to the museums of France entitles to a reduction in corporate tax equal to 90% of the payments made by a company for the acquisition by the State or a public entity of a national treasure for a public collection, the reduction having a ceiling of 50% of the payable tax. This law applies to companies liable to corporate tax based on their normal or simplified real profits. In the context of a group that is consolidated for tax purposes, the 50% limit applies to the whole group with reference to the tax payable by the group’s parent company.
