The Folie Musique
The Folie Musique
In the heart of the Cité de la musique, a space bearing the poetic name of Folie Musique is devoted to encouraging the practice of music in adults, children and families.
Workshops in musical awareness are offered to young children (from 3 to 7 years). They develop sensitivity to the world of sound by playing with voices and instruments from all regions of the world and through discovering the pleasures of making music together.
For children from 8 years on, workshops in gamelan, electric guitar, sound studios and steelpans are available.
An offer just as rich exists for adults. These workshops are regularly punctuated by encounters with guest musicians.
But the Folie Musique is also a place where children and their parents can explore diverse musical worlds and learn about them together.
